Born and raised on the coastside, you are blessed with the natural elements that surround you.  The inspiration for our first line comes from being a kid sitting at the jetty and looking up at the Radar Station aka “The Golf Ball.”  We made up stories about what it was and if we could go up there and explore.  At that time, I didn’t know that some of the biggest waves in the world at Mavericks were just beyond that bluff.

Today, I sit on that same beach or surrounding beaches and absorb all of the various elements of nature; the water, the rocks, the bluffs, the animals and the famous sunsets and fog sets.  Humba is a local slang word but to us it’s also an amazing feeling.” – Michelle

Whether in Half Moon Bay, California or any other location, this feeling can barely be described by words. You know it, we know it. That’s HUMBA.
